Volunteer For Elephants

How You Can Get Involved

We are always looking for volunteers to support our advocacy efforts. Review our circus tracker to see if the circus is coming to your city. We look to our local volunteers to assist with:

Outreach & Distribution

Volunteers can help distribute fliers from our Advocate Toolkit at local coffee shops, libraries, community boards, and other places where the public can see them. In addition, volunteers can help contact local schools and share our age-appropriate worksheets with teachers and students.

Local Logistics & Research

Local insight is extremely valuable since every city is different. Help us identify:

  • Additional volunteers

  • Local media outlets for ads or opinion pieces

  • Public figures, community leaders, or organizations that may be sympathetic to the cause.

Event Documentation

If comfortable, volunteers can take photos or short videos of the elephant’s performances — and, if possible, what the elephants are doing when they’re not on stage. Any visual documentation helps strengthen our evidence and campaign messaging.

Skilled Volunteer Roles

Beyond our on-the-ground campaigns, we rely on volunteers with specialized skills to help sustain and grow the organization. In particular, we have a strong need for individuals with experience in grant writing and funding research. Securing grants allows us to expand our educational work, strengthen our advocacy campaigns, and build long-term resources for elephants. Volunteers who can help identify new funding opportunities, draft proposals, or assist with research play a critical role in ensuring that our mission remains viable and scalable.
