David Ebert Interviewed on “Talking Animals” Radio Show

Weeping Elephant Project’s founder David Ebert joined the fantastic radio show “Talking Animals” with host Duncan Strauss on WMNF (88.5 FM), Tampa's 70,000-watt, community-supported NPR affiliate, on September 9, 2026.

In the conversation David traced the path that led him to elephant advocacy: decades as a commercial litigation attorney, followed by founding Animal Defense Partnership, a nonprofit that has provided free legal services to more than 400 animal protection organizations over the past decade. That work very much led to the founding of WEP.

The conversation also includes a discussion of WEP’s Busch Gardens Tampa Bay campaign — a natural fit, given WMNF’s own Tampa home.
